Arranging shop work

Shop work is arranged by phone and in person: walk in during shop hours, call for an appointment, or call ahead for an after-hours drop-off. A call sets the time; nothing is booked until you have talked to someone.

How to arrange shop work

What to have ready when you call

  • What we're working on: truck, trailer or both
  • Year, make and model
  • What's wrong, in your words, and how long it's been doing it
  • When you need it back
  • A phone number that will answer

Questions drivers ask

What should I tell you when I call about shop work?

The unit (truck, trailer or both), year, make and model, what it's doing, and when you need it back. If it's an inspection, say so up front.

Is a call the same as an appointment?

No. A call sets a time with the shop; nothing is scheduled until you've talked to someone. Walk-ins are welcome during shop hours, and after-hours drop-offs are accepted when you call ahead.

Day or night, one number.

Tell dispatch: interstate and direction, last exit or mile marker you passed, what you're driving, what happened.
